Tour the Facility
Warm Springs is committed to improving the quality of life and independence of people with extended illness and disabilities. Through inpatient and outpatient services and community programs Warm Springs helps patients reintegrate into their community
Our outside garden
For every hospital patient, the comfort and convenience of their room is most important. For this reason we have tried to make our rooms accommodating and as much like home as possible.
The 98 degree temperature of the water in our Indoor Pool is very important to the hospitals aquatic therapy program.
The warm water is a good low impact exercise medium and the heat is very therapeutic
People with serious injury's and illnesses need critical care and constant attention by a specially-trained team of healthcare professionals.
Each patient is evaluated pre-admission and upon admission to determine if their medical complexity requires admission to the High Observation Unit.
While receiving specialized medical care and therapy, patients enjoy excellent food provided under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian to ensure nutritious, delicious and healthly meals for each patients specific needs.

Multiple computer terminals, large scheduling boards, Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurses and a holistic team approach is what makes nursing at Warm Springs so effective
The nursing station on each of the two patient floors is, by design, centrally located in order to act as a center for patient activity and to allow quick, responsive access to all patients rooms.
Multiple computer terminals, large scheduling boards, Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurses and a holistic team approach is what makes nursing at Warm Springs so effective.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) is a treatment by which patients are enclosed in a chamber pressurized with 100 percent oxygen. This increases the amount of oxygen in the blood and improves the body's ability to heal. Warm Springs is one of only 41 facilities that have successfully completed the process for HBO accreditation in the United States. The individual chambers are the largest made and provide ample room for patient comfort during treatment.
The Wall of Fame is a bi-annual award ceremony where we honor former patients who have left a lasting impression on the staff for their strength, courage and determination to overcome adversity. Each recipient of the award is nominated by the physicians, nurses and therapists that walked with them through their rehabilitation process.
The event is widely attended by former patients and their loved ones, staff and the local media. Newspaper and TV representatives cover these events as they hold great human interest in the communities we serve. During the Wall of Fame ceremony, there is a presentation by staff members and physicians recounting the spirit of recovery that the honoree displayed during their rehabilitation process. The former patient also speaks with gratitude for the help we gave them to reach their full potential and return home to their families and their lives. It is a very moving ceremony that all staff looks forward to and serves as a reminder that what we do truly transforms lives.
Each honoree receives a certificate of recognition and a picture plaque that is hung on a special wall together with former honorees in a distinct hallway of the hospital.
Our therapy gym
Our laboratory has all the necessary equipment to perform blood analysis, urine analysis, transfusions and blood gas analysis. These kinds of capabilities can be critical for monitoring the conditions of a rehabilitation patient recently released from an acute care hospital.
In addition to a clinical laboratory, we offer a fully equipped pharmacy, staffed seven days a week, directed a licensed clinical pharmacist.
One of the ancillary services available for the inpatients at Warm Springs is radiology. We have most of the standard X-ray equipment available in an acute care hospital. Having the ability to perform X-rays on-site saves our patients the precious time and money involved in transporting them to an acute care hospital when an X-ray is needed. In addition to the fixed equipment in the radiology lab, we have a portable X-ray machine which can be taken to a patients room, if needed.
