Nicholas Clinton Stevens, Ph.D./M.D.

Dr. Stevens was born and raised in Hammond. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. in Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University. He then pursued a combined Ph.D./M.D. degree at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans beginning in 1972. He attended graduate school in the Department of Physiology and received his Ph.D. in Physiology (1977) with specialization on gastrointestinal physiology and illnesses involving the gastrointestinal tract.  He completed his M.D. (1979) from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Ochsner Foundation Clinic and Hospital in New Orleans in 1982. He joined the Internal Medicine Clinic in 1983 and specializes in General Internal Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of Tangipahoa Medical Society, Louisiana State Medical Society, American College of Physicians and American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the medical staff at North Oaks Hospital, North Oaks Rehabilitation Hospital, Cypress Pointe Surgical Hospital, Specialty LTAC Hospital and United Medical Rehabilitation Hospital. He and his wife Marguerite are members of First Presbyterian Church of Hammond.

Darren Maury Drummond, M.D.

Dr. Drummond was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He obtained his B.S. in 1991 from Louisiana State University.  He obtained his M.D. degree from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1995.  He completed his internship and residency at LSU Medical Center in 1998 and was also board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1998.  He has served as Chief of Staff for North Oaks Hospital. He joined the Internal Medicine Clinic in 1998.  Dr. Drummond and his wife, Lili, are the proud parents of five sons.  He enjoys spending time with his family, saltwater reef aquariums and restoring sports cars.

Leonard C. Treanor, M.D

"Dr. Treanor was born and raised in Queens, NY. He earned a B.S. degree in Biology and Chemistry from St. Johns University in Jamaica, NY.  After graduation, he taught Chemistry in Brooklyn, NY for two years.  He earned his M.D. from the Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies.  His third and fourth year clinical training was performed at LSU, Leonard J. Chabert Hospital in Houma, LA.  Dr. Treanor completed his internship and residency at Baton Rouge General Family Medicine Program.  During residency, he obtained training in Sports Medicine while working with athletes at LSU.  He also served as the Infectious Disease and Clinical professor for Our Lady of the Lake Physician assistant program. 
Dr. Treanor also has additional training in treatment of acute strokes, advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine.  His special interests include preventative medicine, migraine therapy and adult ADHD. Dr. Treanor is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, a Member of National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, Certified Advanced Wound Therapies and Certified by Aurora Health Care in Hyperbaric Medicine.

Dr Narang was born in New Delhi, India. After graduating from Medical School in 1986( UCMS, India), he completed his internship in Internal Medicine in Maryland. He moved to Englewood Hospital, affiliate of Mount Sinai, NY, to complete his residency in Internal Medicine. He moved to Pittsburgh, PA at University of Pittsburgh to complete his Critical Care Medicine fellowship. Subsequently, he joined University Hospital in Columbia, MO where he trained in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He started his own practice in 1996 in Corpus Christi, TX. He is trained in several interventional pulmonary procedures as Navigational Bronchoscopy, Bronchoscopy with EBUS, thoracentesis, pleurax catheter insertion and removal, Bronchial Thermoplasty, Yag laser Bronchoscopy and Percutaneous Tracheostomy.

Dr. Salim Surani serves as the Adjunct Clinical Professor Medicine, Department of Pulmonary, and Critical Care & Sleep Medicine department at Texas A&M University, Texas, USA. He also currently serves as program director for Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship Program in Corpus Christi. He has done his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Texas. Dr. Surani has done his Masters in Public Health & Epidemiology from Yale University and Masters in Health Management from University of Texas, Dallas. Dr. Surani has also served as secretary and board of trustee for THE CHEST Foundation. Dr. Surani was a grant reviewer for the government of Australia and Singapore as well as Ranis (granting agency for European Nation). Dr. Salim Surani currently works as the Medical Director of Critical Care Services at Christus Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi and Chief of Medicine at HCA system Corpus Christi. Dr. Surani has authored more than 150 articles in the peer review journals, and has written several books and book chapters. He has also served as the reviewer for more than 20 peer review journals. Dr. Surani's areas of interest include, but are not limited to critical care, Asthma, COPD, sleep medicine, quality assurance programs, Long term acute care and pulmonary infections. Dr. Surani serves in the editorial board for several journals. He has also served as an invited speaker in several regional, national and international scientific conferences. Dr. Surani has also served in numerous committees of several local, regional, national and international organizations and has received several community and teaching awards.
