Dr. Salim Surani serves as the Adjunct Clinical Professor Medicine, Department of Pulmonary, and Critical Care & Sleep Medicine department at Texas A&M University, Texas, USA. He also currently serves as program director for Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship Program in Corpus Christi. He has done his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Texas. Dr. Surani has done his Masters in Public Health & Epidemiology from Yale University and Masters in Health Management from University of Texas, Dallas. Dr. Surani has also served as secretary and board of trustee for THE CHEST Foundation. Dr. Surani was a grant reviewer for the government of Australia and Singapore as well as Ranis (granting agency for European Nation). Dr. Salim Surani currently works as the Medical Director of Critical Care Services at Christus Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi and Chief of Medicine at HCA system Corpus Christi. Dr. Surani has authored more than 150 articles in the peer review journals, and has written several books and book chapters. He has also served as the reviewer for more than 20 peer review journals. Dr. Surani's areas of interest include, but are not limited to critical care, Asthma, COPD, sleep medicine, quality assurance programs, Long term acute care and pulmonary infections. Dr. Surani serves in the editorial board for several journals. He has also served as an invited speaker in several regional, national and international scientific conferences. Dr. Surani has also served in numerous committees of several local, regional, national and international organizations and has received several community and teaching awards. Dr. Surani has also founded It’s Your Life Foundation, a community educational foundation. He also serves as a physician for Health Edition every Thursday at Kiii TV Corpus Christi

Jude M. Aririguzo MD

Dr. Jude M. Aririguzo is a board certified Internal Medicine and Primary Care physician who was born in Nigeria, Africa. Dr. Aririguzo has been actively practicing as a medical physician since 1989. He attained his undergraduate education and earned his medical and surgical degree at University of Jos, Nigeria. He then completed his residency at North General Hospital/ Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. After completing his residency, Dr. Aririguzo accepted the position of Chief Resident at North General Hospital for 1996-1997. He has held several positions in New York working in the Emergency Room at North General Hospital and the prison health system with St. Barnabas Hospital at Rikers Island. He currently has hospital privileges at the Christus Spohn Health System and runs a private practice for Internal Medicine since 2000 serving the community of Corpus Christi. Dr. Aririguzo has volunteered on several medical missions to Haiti and Nigeria during his practice as a physician. Dr. Aririguzo’s objective is to humanely make a positive difference in the lives of those in his care.
