Dr. Shah is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine, Roseau, West Indies and completed his residency for Internal Medicine at the Wilson Memorial Hospital in Syracuse. He is credentialed in performing man Internal Medicine outpatient/inpatient procedures including paronychia removal, punch/shave biopsies, I&D, cryotherapy, joint aspirations and injections, paracentesis and thoracentesis, toilet bronchoscopies, central line placement and arterial line placement. He also is the Hospitalist Director/ Utilization Review Director at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin. He is a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served for the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing/Emergency Medical Group in 2006-2007 and 2008-2009. Dr. Shah is our Physician Quality Director and provides medical oversite for patients at PAM New Braunfels.
