Dr. Patel serves as our Pulmonary physician. He treats ailments of the lungs and respiratory system such as respiratory failure, asthma, pneumonia, tuberculosis, complicated chest infections and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. He has extensive knowledge in ventilator weaning and management. Bedside procedures include thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tube/pluerex catheter placements. He is a quadruple boarded physician in Internal Medicine, Critical care, Pulmonary and Sleep. After receiving his degree he completed his residency in Brooklyn, New York and a fellowship in Maryland.. He has over 20 years of experience and is dedicated to the patients he cares for requiring pulmonary management.
