A long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) is recommended for those who require complex medical management, therapeutic care and rehabilitation services -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with daily assessment of the patient by a physician.
Persons requiring long-term acute care are generally:
Admitted directly from the ICU
Medically and physically compromised with multi-system complications and/or failures that require hospitalization.
In need of extended acute care, but have the potential for recovery and may then transition home or to the next level of care.
The below link represents our standard hospital charges across a variety of services we provide our patients. This does not reflect the cost of care by the patient, that is determined by insurance coverage unique to each individual.
